Some fans and discographers list the album title as "You've Really Got A Hold On Me", which is prominent on the cover and, adding to the confusion, is shown on some pressings of the LP as the main title on the spine and labels. Indeed, the original album label copy dated Feb. 8, 1963 shows the LP title as such, but Motown files contain a follow-up memo from two weeks later correcting the title. It is entirely possible that there were early runs of the LP jacket that did not include the corrections.

Album

The Miracles Depend On Me: The Early Albums is a 2009 double-CD limited release by Motown Records' original vocal group The Miracles, released through Universal's Hip-O Select imprint to coincide with the legendary Motown label's 50th anniversary. In addition, this collection's release also coincided with The Miracles' being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 20 of that year. The Miracles were the first Motown artists to have a hit single, and they were the first to release full-length LPs, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that these LPs have a bit of a formative feel to them, with the debut relying perhaps a bit too heavily on ballads, and splitting the vocal duties nearly equally among. the Miracles, including leads by Claudette Robinson, who would later leave the group. Album 2009 53 Songs. You Can Depend On Me Single Version. Miracles: все альбомы, включая I Second That EmotionIf You Can WantGoing To A Go-Go , Doggone Right , Time To Relaxe и другие. Won't You Take Me Back - Alternate Album Version. The Miracles known from 1965 to 1972 as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles are an American rhythm and blues group from Detroit, Michigan, notable as the first successful group act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records. The Miracles went on to become one of Motown's signature acts of the 1960s, during which time their original lead singer and founding member Smokey Robinson became one of the most successful songwriters and record producers of all time. During their nineteen year run on the American music charts, The Miracles charted over fifty hits and recorded in the genres of read more. These albums cover their wonderful early doo-wop era music, so for doo-wop and soul fans like myself, this album is a true treat. The collection has the classics such as Way Over There 1960, You've Really Got a Hold On Me 1962, You Can Depend On Me 1959 Obviously, Everybody's Gotta Pay Some Dues 1961, Happy Landing 1962, and many other gems from the first four albums, and the live. versions of several ot them on the fifth album. Don't Leave Me Tracks 1 to 11 are their debut LP Hi, We're The Miracles - released June 1961 in the USA on Tamla 220 and July 1963 in the UK on Oriole PS 40044. That's The Way I Feel 13. The first five albums, on two discs. And you should hold them as close as a teen lover. Post-war pop never twinkled like this again. In Smokey Robinson, Berry Gordy had a suburban romantic poet for the ages applying himself to the creation of the nascent Motown house sound. A lot of what resulted in 1961-63 is, of course, genre mash but every note of it is alive with the electricity of new birth. In some versions of heaven there's a jukebox with nothing on it but this stuff and Chuck Berry. Kill me now. More about: Early Soul R&b Motown Music Rhythm And Blues .
