Vapor Trails - Rush. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Vapor Trails redefines their intensely individualistic music, blending their famously complex dynamics with driving melodic hooks and a passionate, personal lyric approach. The entire developmental process for Vapor Trails was extremely taxing and took approximately 14 months to finish, by far the longest the band had ever spent writing and recording a studio album. The band had the album remixed and re-released as Vapor Trails Remixed in 2013. Vapor Trails is the seventeenth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush. It was released on May 14, 2002, on Anthem Records, and was their first studio release since Test for Echo 1996, the longest gap between two Rush albums. After the Test For Echo tour finished in July 1997, the group entered an extended hiatus following personal tragedies suffered by drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. The band reunited in January 2001 to rehearse material for a new album, recording for which lasted until November. I did not write these songs and I do not intend any copyright infringement. All the songs off Rush's 2002 album 'Vapor Trails', stuck together just for Trails is the eleventh studio album by the experimental rock band Tuxedomoon. It was released in 2007 through Cramboy. All tracks are written by Steven Brown, Peter Dachert, Luc Van Lieshout and Blaine L. Adapted from the Vapour Trails liner notes. Rush - Vapor Trails 2002. Vapor Trails. Buy from. Vapor Trails was the seventeenth studio album by Rush, released six years after Test for Echo. It was the first album since Caress of Steel to have no synthesizers at all. Due to a loudness war at the time of original release, the album sounded scratchy and bumpy. Dissatisfied with the mix, it was remixed and re-released as Vapor Trails Remixed in 2013. Pros: Power-filled songs refined by years of experience. Touching lyrics. They're Back Cons: Some over-use of layered vocals. The Bottom Line: This is Rush at their hardest, their edgiest, their deepest, their most controversial, their . Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion you must set yourself on fire. Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist for Rush, read that quote on the wall of a bar in Montana. Vapor Trails, with its 13 tracks, sends a statement to the music world - a powerful one at that. The message We're baaaaaaaack. Vapor Trails came out after a hiatus starting after the release of Different Stages caused by the death of Neil Pearts Wife and daughter. The album is the first album since Fly by Night to not have synths. Some remixed songs from the album were released on a greatest hits album. Later, a remixed version was released called Vapor Trails Remixed. Vapor Trails Q&A

Reviews of the Rush - Vapor Trails (5):
I know Alex made sure Geddy didn't use any synths on this album, but I miss the synths to be honest. Most people site "Moving Pictures", "Signals", "Grace under pressure", or "Power Windows" as some of their best albums. Guess what? these albums are LADEN with synth tones. Go figure?
White gold
Well, this is strange! My CD has no catalogue number, no barcode, no label, no matrix/runout (or any other such markings in the spindle area). There's no label detail in the booklet, either. It does look like an official release, though, so I am completely stumped by this (plus I'd have purchased it from somewhere like Amazon, probably around 2004). Anyone have any ideas?
Not THE worst piece of crap ever recorded. That honor goes to Metallica's st anger. Yet the worst rush album and the beginning of the end for the band. ALSO, whomever gave Alex that annoying and cheap-ass distortion pedal single handedly buried an awesome band. OTOH the artwork is very good.
after "moving pictures" was the beginning of the end of the band for me. you held out a HELL of a lot longer than me....
There is a remaster of the original version, which is available at HDTracks here: http://www.hdtracks.co.uk/vapor-trails-remixedMy thoughts on the the proper 'remixed' release (Rush - Vapor Trails Remixed) is mostly sharing the views as the review by timcdisc; it's good but it's not as close to the original mixes as I'd want from an actual remastering. Therefore I'd say I much prefer the cleaned up tracks available on the HDTracks site.
