Riffin' With Red. Red Prysock. Released: Nov 1999. My first Red Prysock album - this guy was amazing, what a sound In the main the tracks are up tempo R & R, clearly Red was known for his rapid fire style of playing but for me what sets him apart is that he delivers each and every note with such precision, clarity and conviction not to mention power. The slower R & B tracks are no less compelling - they really sing the Blues. There is also some excellent accompaniment from Red's orchestra, including Baritone and Tenors Sax. and not forgetting the atmospheric vibraphone I would have no hesitation in recommending this albu
