It was the band's only release under the sole-leadership of vocalist Fred Durst after the temporary departure of guitarist Wes Borland, who left in 2001. Snot guitarist Mike Smith was initially brought in to replace Borland, although the band's falling-out with Smith later led to his departure, with much of the material recorded with him being discarded from. Limp Bizkits 4th LP, released in 2003, it features the guitarist from Snot, Mike Smith, in place of founding member Wes Borland, which left the band at that time. However, during the recording process a dispute arose with Smith and some of the work he recorded was removed. The album was a chart success, selling 325,000 copies in its first week, before reaching 1. 5 million by 2016. It debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200, and single Eat You Alive made number 16 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Higher praise was reserv.
