Bach: The Brandenburg Concertos - Johann Sebastian Bach, Consort of London, Robert Haydon Clark. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Bach's Six Brandenburg Concertos are essential and enduringly popular works in the Baroque orchestral repertory, full of interesting instrumentation choices and dancing melodies. Under the direction of prize-winning Bach specialist John Butt OBE, the ensemble has become particularly acclaimed for its inquisitive approach, shining new light into some of the best known pieces of the Baroque repertoire. Among the talented instrumentalists are Pamela Thorby recorder, Jonathan Manson cello and John Butt harpsichord. Bach: The Brandenburg Concertos - The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Better than most, Karl Richter knew that the Brandenburg Concertos are serious fun and ought to be played that way. There is a sense of joy in these wry readings, of something elevated but at the same time earthy and jaunty and not too pious, that still delights after a quarter of a century- and nowhere does one get a better feeling for the extraordinary efflorescence of Bach's genius. Bach: Six Brandenburg Concertos. John Butt and the Dunedin Consort are familiar to many listeners for their exquisite recordings of Baroque choral masterworks, such as Handel's Messiah and Bach's Mass in B minor, but this set of Bach's six Brandenburg Concertos is the first instrumental outing for the Scottish period ensemble. Playing original instruments or modern copies, and using a lower tuning of A 392hz, the group recreates Bach's music with a lively combination of extemporaneous ornamentation and propulsive rhythms that is invigorating for its lack of preciosity. The Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach BWV 10461051, original title: Six Concerts à plusieurs instruments are a collection of six instrumental works presented by Bach to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt, in 1721 though probably composed earlier. They are widely regarded as some of the best orchestral compositions of the Baroque era. Bach composed this famous collection of six concertos BWV 1046-51 between 1708-1721, although they weren't known as the 'Brandenburg' Concertos until 150 years later. For a gateway into the world of Baroque music you can do no better than Bachs 'Brandenburg' Concertos. Written between 1708-1721 for Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg, they are based on the Italian concerto grosso style. Bach composed them when he was Kapellmeister music director in the small town of Cöthen, presumably for various members of the Cöthen Court Orchestra, the composer gave
