The Chus & Ceballos mix of Sim City is the best track out of the Stereo/Iberican camp in YEARS. Although I feel that Chus and pals wont last much longer if they keep trying to put out the same ol' sounding tribal dubs over and over and over again. I imagine by now in 2007 even they are getting tired of hearing their own productions.

Brilliant mastering and off the wall vocals help to accentuate the big deep bass kicks and tribal drums. This is the kind of track you want to play to a crowd that is familiar with the NYC/NJ Tribal/Progressive sound. Big room bomb for sure. I'd also like to note that I really enjoy the artwork on the cover and the record. Cool color scheme and overall layout. Easy to find in your box when you need it.

A lush Iberican fusion of proggy tribal with a nod to electro's emerging grip on clubland. Jane Kumada's spoken-word vocal depicts a world stripped of substance, while harkening back to the golden days of Lula breathing hynoptic life into DT's deep, dark tracks at the Tunnel. Kumada can read me a lullabye anytime.

The track offers possibly Richie Santana's finest collaboration with another DJ-remixer-producer -- namely, Pablo Ceballos of Chus & Ceballos fame. A deep, pulsing bassline and tribal drums are accented by whirring synths and other samples.

Funny how life here in the U.S. sounds just like Sim City.
